Rubber Stamp Shows

Rubber Stamp Shows are terrific for ideas!   They usually come to my area about once or twice a year.  Vendors who are selling supplies (like mounted and unmounted rubber stamps, inkpads, paper, etc) rent space in the showroom.  They always have fabulous classes on techniques, casual demonstrations, and people who can talk to you and answer specific questions for you.   There is usually a small entrance fee, but count on spending more than you think because of the terrific selection.  Pick up a show program, which will list all of the vendors at the show, including their address (some will be local), and whether or not they have a mail order catalog.

  • One company that produces rubber stamp shows is Heirloom Productions.  They can be reached at 3900 NW Cherokee Lane, Newport, OR 97365,  (541) 574-8000 (ph/fax).

  • Another excellent producer of rubber stamps shows is RUBBERAMA.  They can be reached at (310) 329-8555 or by mail at A Stamp In the Hand Co., 20630 S. Leapwood Ave, Suite B, Carson, CA  90746.

Gather ideas, take notes, some people may allow you to photograph their samples or demonstrations.  There is no better motivation for creativity than a rubber stamp show!  Have fun!

Please come again soon!
